Company
Methodology

Each company has its own challenges and opportunities. That is why a thorough and flexible implementation methodology is a key factor in the success of your project. Nova Edge brings you its turnkey methodology, which has been successfully tried and tested during the delivery of our SFDC projects.

OUR METHODOLOGY: PRECISE FRAMEWORK AND CUSTOM DESIGN

Our working method aims to deliver efficient and productive CRM to our customers.

The framework phase, like the design phase, is where we pay particular attention.

The mission framework is essential to the success of the project. This is what guarantees the success of your future CRM, just as it guarantees respecting your timeframe and your budget.

During this phase, we will discuss with you your objectives and the solutions that we can offer. We will chart a clear road map where we will define the objectives, the context, the issues, the teams and the resources that will come into play, the planning, the budget…

The design phase is just as crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and the adaptability of the system.

During this stage of the process, our technical teams will configure your CRM, day after day. We will integrate the parameters specific to your company, to your customers and to your partners.

We will adjust the CRM to the profile and the business processes of your collaborators. It will be custom-made for your activity.

FOCUS ON THE AGILE METHOD: SCRUM

To develop our clients’ CRMs, our agency follows a unique working methodology based on:

  • Collaboration
  • Adaptability
  • Personalisation
  • Results.

It is based on the method called “Agile” and its “Scrum” process.

The reason our approach follows this logic, is because we believe that a CRM should, from the conception phase and throughout the development work, take into account the following:

  • characteristics specific to our clients
  • the evolution of their requests and their context
  • the profile of their prospects.

WHY DO WE FOLLOW THIS METHOD ?

Because between the moment “t” when you entrust us with creating your CRM and the moment “t+n” when we have delivered it, your needs can change, your expectations can evolve, new and more powerful technical solutions can be identified during our work.

The Agile method allows for this evolution; it allows us to improve your project.

This methodology avoids the inconvenience of the “tunnel effect” where the result would only be known on the day of delivery.

The Scrum method is based on splitting the work into several sub-steps, called “sprints”.

These are short development cycles – on average from 2 to 4 weeks – at the end of which a deliverable is provided to the client.

A Scrum project is results oriented, but also client oriented, as the client has to participate in the development of his future CRM through many production meetings.

PRINCIPAL OF THE AGILE SCRUM METHOD

The Agile method is a process of technical development that allows for constant evolution and optimal adaptability of solutions during deployment.

Started by a group of international developers, the Agile method aims to improve projects and to aid discussion between teams by placing the client at the centre of the conversation.

On this last point, the Scrum method offers a beneficial operating mode. The principle is based on the definition of the word “scrum” taken from the sport of rugby.

A « Scrum » project makes the analogy between the frequency of scrums during a rugby match and the numerous repeated meetings between the client and the supplier envisaged by this method.

A Scrum project is a development project that involves a mixed team, consisting of:
  • a Product owner: the client
  • a Scrum master: the supplier’s project manager
  • a team of developers
We follow this working method because it is based on human exchanges, change and personalisation, adaptation; in other words:
  • the individuals rather than the tools
  • collaboration rather than negotiation
  • change rather than immobilisation
  • involvement rather than disengagement.
